Danny, a nine year old lab mix, was one of our successful invisible fence dogs and thrived as a house dog. In the kennel, he was overstimulated and paced constantly. We brought him to the house to calm him down. Danny clearly had lingering puppyhood issues. He was fearful of being touched on his lower back and ate paper products whenever possible. He also won’t walk up the stairs in the house, but he could do the stairs multiple times a day elsewhere. He used to eat donation checks. He died when he was 12 plus.
