History: Smokey was a former lesson horse who wasn’t always on his best behavior. He wasn’t working out and he came to Dogwood Farm. As an older guy, he has trouble keeping weight on because he only has three molars. Therefore, Smokey has a special diet and is constantly trying to put weight on.

Smokey died in the fall of 2016. The vet thought it was cancer and was on his way when Smokey passed. He laid down in the front yard and never got back up. He was 30 years old.
