Our sweet little Reuben was adopted in January. When he arrived at the Sanctuary, he was emaciated and weak from being dumped in a rural area. He was also extremely sensitive to cold as he had likely been perpetually cold for a long time. He was found by a hunter, who reached out to us. We added calories and worked with Reuben on potty training. He tried to avoid the outside because it was cold out there. Now Reuben is a rowdy boy with two other German short-haired pointers and has a huge backyard, which he loves. His new parents are making sure Reuben is getting the right kind of food and calories to make up for any needs.
